"Ask the Experts" Community Night
Aliens are invading King William County. . . The 7th grade students at Hamilton-Holmes Middle School researched non-native species such as kudzu, phragmites, snakeheads, mute swans, and even zebra mussels and presented an Alien Invasion Community Night on March 9th to educate the public about the problems of many invasive species. The event included a runway show of alien costumes created by Tina Oberg’s art students.
Preston Burke and Jonathan Short, BCES students working with Dr. Gary Whiting and Dr. James Reed on the King William County Reservoir Water Quality Testing Project, were available in the “Ask the Expert” room.
