The Harold Cones Seminar Series

The Harold Cones Seminar Series was established in recognition of Dr. Harold N. Cones, longtime member of the Department of Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Science. He came to the department in 1968 and served as its chairman from fall 1980 - spring 2008.

Since retiring in May 2008, Dr. Cones serves as onboard naturalist and lecturer for a variety of cruises and ecotours. He also continues his writing on Zenith radio and the history of technology.
