Ron Mollick raised on the beaches of San Diego, Dr. Mollick turned his marines interests into formal study at San Diego State University where he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology. His research project kept him at the rocky shores studying an intertidal fish.

| After several years at CNU he immersed himself into east coast marine environments by studying the behavior, ecology and physiology of an intertidal sandflat snail that lives off Beaufort, NC, which earned him a Ph.D. in Zoology from North Carolina State University. He is an active member of the Board of Directors of Planned Parenthood, has two daughters, and loves sports of all kinds including poker. |

Each spring, Drs. Ron Mollick and Harold Cones take undergraduate students on a research field trip to the Duke University Marine Lab in Beaufort, North Carolina for three days of trawling, dredging and mud flat work. |
